Dr. Lorissa Lamoureux – Passed the ACLAM board examination

On July 17th, Dr. Lorissa Lamoureux was notified that she passed the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) board certification examination in laboratory animal medicine. ACLAM Diplomates are certified specialists in the field of laboratory animal medicine. They provide medical care and management to a wide variety of animal species used in medical, veterinary medical, and biological research and testing. As of today, Dr. Lamoureux is one of approximately 900 active diplomates. To qualify to sit for the boards applicants must complete at least 2 years of specialized training, have a first author paper related to the field of laboratory animal medicine and/or science, and pass a rigorous certification examination.
